Review of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) by Bob L — 23 Dec 2017
For me David Suchet will always be Poirot but Kenneth Branagh is excellent and the film has a stellar cast. The story is classic and Branagh does a solid job executing it. Though it's a murder mystery you never feel any tension, or sense of danger and so though well executed it lacks the bite stops it from being a stand out film and leaves it as good.
See it or Skip It.
It's worth seeing if you're a fan of Poirot but it's not a must see.
