Review of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) by Geraltr — 25 Nov 2017
This movie is an at most mediocre remake of the renowned novel by Agatha Christie.
It fails to reproduce the well-executed suspension in the original novel and does not illustrate how Poirot proceed to solve the mystery. As a result, the revelation scene fall flat and is very unconvincing. (It is not clear why Poirt's inference has to be the case.).
I feel that this film could be better if it has focused more on the plot itself rather than adding unnecessary action scenes.
