Review of Murder on the Orient Express (2017) by Freddie S — 18 Nov 2017
Also directed by Kenneth Branagh, Murder on the Orient Express is an adaptation of the 1934 novel of the same name written by Agatha Christie. Before viewing this sleuth based travel adventure, I had never heard of Hercule Poirot, I blame Sherlock.
The only thing I knew about this film was what was in the title; probably somebody will be murdered on a train, and I guessed that train was called the Orient Express. Not knowing anything was the best way to view this film.
The story was fun, funny, and fresh to me (we'll get into that next), the acting and cast were pretty solid, and the direction/filmography was well done.
