Review of Murder on the Orient Express (1974) by Drew S — 29 Jan 2007
I was a little upset because I'd already read the book, so I knew how it would end. Boo!
Still, the movie is great on all other levels. It's full of basically every bankable older star in the mid-70s, and as such it displays mature and fantastic performances. (Albeit underwritten ones - with twelve murder suspects to be interrogated, they can't spend too much time dwelling on one.).
Closed circle mysteries like this are always the most exciting.
