Review of Murder on a Sunday Morning (2001) by Juan C — 20 Mar 2010
This is certainly the lesser cousin of The Staircase. The main problem exists in the fact that the "cast" are not very articulate or memorable in comparison to the masterpiece.
Even so this is a sobering look into the world on innocence and police corruption. It is scary to think that if not for a Public Defender working as hard as he can, this child may have spent a life behind bars. There is no doubt that situations like this have occurred in the past, and perhaps with a more dire outcome.
