Review of Murder by Numbers (2002) by Meaghan C — 23 Feb 2008
This film made my hair stand up on end the first time I watched it. Watching it a few years later the story seems to fall apart for me. The the beginning and middle are amazing, especially Ryan Gosling's and Sandra Bullock's characters. But the conclusion, at the bluff crumbles the rest of the narrative for me. It could be that the special effects on the bluff were a little ridiculous.
I also find it intriguing that Schroeder chooses real-life cases to adapt to the screen, time and time again.
