Ridiculously meta send-up of mystery novels, hosted by a writer of mystery novels. Fun to see Peter Falk's Boagrt impression and Peter Sellar's send-up of Charlie Chan, fun to hear Neil Simon's dialogue, fun to realize that yes, that is a young James Cromwell as Hercule Poirot's driver.
But Sadly, deconstructing tends to deconstruct.
