Although don’t know too much about the original story and characters and understand why some people may have concerns with the Neville dude, have to say those bashing it cause it may treat him sympathetically aren’t watching it as a movie but rather with pre biased opinions .

Although yes Jeremy irons may not be as good as movie might make him the intriguing characters and story behind it still makes for a very watchable and important subject.
