Review of Munich (2005) by Reid S — 02 Dec 2012
I was really liking it until the last 40-45 minutes, and then it went in a downward spiral for me. It was very anticlimactic, which is unfortunate because most of the movie built up to what ended up being disappointing.
It doesn't even feel like a Spielberg movie. What I mean is that it isn't Hollywood-ized (which is good) and it doesn't have a John Williams score that stands out. I understand that Saving Private Ryan was not Hollywood-ized but it was recognizable as a Spielberg movie.
He always adds a touch to a movie that is distinguishable. But here I found an good movie with a bad ending.
