Review of Munich (2005) by Matt S — 04 Jan 2010
Taut, well-acted and balanced thriller about a group of Israeli operatives sent out to avenge the 1972 Munich Olympic massacre of 11 Israeli athletes by Palestinian terrorists. It's as much about humanity, the senselessness of terrorism, and the heavy toll on both sides as it is a tale of revenge.
Definitely among Spielberg's best.
