Review of Munich (2005) by Chris M — 23 Sep 2009
Endless cycle of violence FTW. What struck me most about this film was Spielberg's introduction on the DVD, in which he actually has to defend it against what would appear to be angry Jews. While the film itself is certainly powerful and affecting, that defensive intro says the most about what a ******* mess the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is.
When people start turning on one of their greatest heroes for suggesting that the endless string of back-and-forth killings accomplishes nothing, you know there's a problem.
