Review of Mum & Dad (2008) by William B — 31 May 2009
Having just been hugely disappointed by Drag me to Hell I'm in a forgiving mood about this one. Similar in disposition to The Great Ecstacy of Robert Carmichael but mercifully devoid of a Danny Dyer cameo, blatantly influenced by The Cromwell Road murders but too scared to go the whole nine yards.
..one for the torture gore completists like myself who'll watch any old twaddle as long as there's few grisly rubber entrails and a scantily clad girl shackled to a bed/chair/radiator etc. in it.
