Review of Mulholland Drive (2001) by John H — 02 Apr 2013
One of 2 or 3 masterpieces from the great David Lynch, this is just flawless. There's no point trying to summarise what the film is about as it would take the entire review to do so except to say that the film is vintage Lynch.
Brilliantly directed and shot and featuring a scary good performance from Naomi Watts it's one of those film that you can watch over and over again and get new meaning from it every time. And the scene between Watts and Laura Harring in the club with the chick singing "Crying" in Spanish is a heartbreaker.
Like I said,a masterpiece.
