Review of Mulholland Dr. (1999) by Calvin J — 06 Jan 2013
This looked like a Tarantino-ish thriller drama with interesting set pieces. Then out of nowhere, voila! everything changes. The plot is so abstract that everybody can have their own theory about what the hell was going on.
Deftly directed and smartly acted, this is a David Lynch film at it's sharpest best.
