Stands alongside 8 1/2, Sunset Blvd, Contempt, and Lynch's own next film Inland Empire as one of the best movies about movies ever made. Naomi Watts gives a towering, fearless performance as two women (or two sides of the same woman?).
I don't want to spoil anything about the movie for those who haven't seen it. I will only say that Lynch fans should love it, but even Lynch detractors may find some things to appreciate here.
One of the finest films Lynch ever made right here, folks.
