Review of Mulholland Dr. (1999) by Ryan V — 17 Feb 2017
A visual and stylistic treat. Just don't expect to walk away understanding the story upon first viewing. The movie is largely a dream, in that there are common threads and the same people and places weave throughout the experience.
But like dreams, this is also nearly impossible to explain or rationalize. If you're into movies that screw with your head, this is an eerie and richly rewarding film. It's director David Lynch at his finest.
