Review of Mulholland Dr. (1999) by Greg B — 01 May 2017
Mulholland Drive is ultimately a film that shouldn't really work, but does. At times implausible, sometimes brilliant, and occasionally plain weird. An unconventional structure will put off some, but it's overall feel and aesthetic is one which stays with you for a long time after.
It makes you think, like all good films should and only gets better on repeated viewings.
