Review of Mulberry Street (2006) by Allan C — 08 Aug 2010
A communicable infection that turns people into cannibalistic rat creatures sounded like pure cheese, but this actually takes itself 100% seriously, and y'know what? It really works. Although it's not terribly original, it has a visceral quality that would appeal to the old school horror aesthetic.
Probably one of the best titles from the After Dark Horrorfest. I disagree on this being a zombie film though, for the same reason 28 Days/Weeks Later isn't: the people are diseased, not dead.
