Mulberry Street was by far the best of the After Dark Film's 8 Movies to Die For Horrorfest 2007 set. Considering the production, the acting, and the over-all feel of the movie, it was a simple knockout compared to the remaining 7, although "Crazy Eights" was a close second. .
The movie takes on a radical, yet original plot of plague infested rats ramping NYC, only instead of spreading life-threatening fatal disease, they are carrying a plague that turns it's wretched victims into rats themselves! Sounds kind of stupid? Maybe. But give it a viewing and then soon the movie takes a twist that carries on the feel of "28 Days Later" , of the fast-pace and frantic camera work, at times much like "The Descent", where as the filming is dark, grainy and adds to the disturbing feel..

Don't be let down by plot summaries, this movie is sure to suprise you and definately deserves a place in the pantheon of zombie-survival films such as the forementioned "28 Days Later", "28 Weeks Later" and of course the "Dawn of the Dead" remake. .
