This was about the dullest zombie-style movie I have seen in a long time, despite the effort made to make everything gritty and dark. I just didn't find the monsters to be all that scary or believable, nor were any of the characters terribly interesting.
Even the gore was minimal, and most of the terror consisted of people being pulled off screen. Yawn.
