Mulan is a masterpiece of beautiful music AND ANIMATION. it TELLS a HEARTFELT STORY WITH A BLEND OF SERIOUS THEMES AND HUMOR. while there are external conflicts such as the battle with the huns, the true beauty and depth of the film shines through mulan's internal conflict with who she is and the symbolism used to portray her character growth.
mulan shows incredible character by repeatedly going against the crowd to do what she believes is right. if you want your kids to see an example of an excellent role model, show them mulan.
