Review of Mud (2013) by Luca P — 23 Jan 2014
I've been through a threefold process while watching Mud. At first, I was impressed by the realistic portray of the grey life of a teenager in rural US. Then despite the impactful photography, I've been disappointed by the slowdown in the plot.
Finally, when the end titles appear, Mud gave me back a smile when I thought about how humanity breaks out unexpectedly from each character and how that maybe taught me something.
