Mud proves that solid performances, even pacing and an interesting storyline can always conquer action and visual effects. Dealing with relevant themes to anyone, Mud allows you to sit back and reminisce about love, failure, loss, loyalty and honor.
Nichols creates an admirable atmosphere and along with an excellent performance from not only just McConaughey but Tye Sheridan as well, Mud is, without a doubt, a really special film.
