Liked it, but parts of the story were so contrived, like how it was so convenient that Tom Blankenship, Mud's friend, happens to live across the river from Ellis' house, that he happens to be a marksman, that Ellis' house happens to be within sniper range , etc.
So it was so predictable that he would become a key figure at some point in the movie.
