Review of Mud (2013) by The3Academysins — 02 Nov 2018
Mud is a beautifully underrated, well acted, and well written movie. Watching Mud is akin to reading a modern-day Mark Twain novel. Matthew McConaughey is excellent in this role, and Sam Shepard and Michael Shannon do well in their minor roles.
The two boys, Tye Sheridan and Jacob Lofland are incredibly fun to watch as best friends. Reese Witherspoon has a great supporting part as well. A great movie with great life lessons, but I feel it runs a little too long.
