This was a good movie, but I was expecting more from this Southern coming-of-age tale. The director does a great job at building up an ominous atmosphere, but the denouement didn't match my expectations.
The ever growing difficulties the main character and his teenage acolytes encounter get a somewhat simplistic solution.
