Wow, this movie held me from beginning to end. I liked it.

I truly enjoyed this movie. It was funny & I love the era, 1937. It is based on true events, which is another thing I like about this movie.
It is about an elderly woman whose husband dies & her friend tells her to get a hobby. So, she buys a theater. She hires a manager. And they begin auditions. The movie is about the relationship between Mrs. Henderson & the manager. But it's also about the theater & the performers.
