Review of Mrs. Henderson Presents (2005) by Trevor L — 12 Nov 2007
Fun and witty performances by Dench and Hoskins almost managed to hold this movie together - but not quite. It's a mish-mash of history, musical numbers, and sob stories that are tenuously strung together.
My overall impression was that the story, as fun and interesting as it is, just didn't have quite enough to it to make a movie.
