Review of Mrs. Henderson Presents (2005) by Tabitha M — 14 Nov 2007
This is one of the reasons I love to see Judi dench in a movie - she does a wonderful tough-old-bird routine.
The movie was charming, the references to war, loss, and life were effectively developed in the plot without being trite or soppy.
The soundtrack was wonderful, and the musical performances were classic, and delivered with sincerity and charm. It is a pleasure to see an-almost musical brought to the scene with such integrity, as it seems to be rare these days.
