Review of Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) by Andreas O — 19 Jun 2011

Is it just me or does Robin Williams look more natural as a woman than a man? As 90s comedies go, this is one of the more noteworthy, having a serious streak instead of just going balls-out stupid like most comedies of its time.

Some of the humor feels kind of old, however, and the climactic "being in two places at once"-scene had been done to death even before this movie came out. Still, it's a fairly touching and memorable film.
