Review of Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) by Mario H — 25 Aug 2011
I loved this movie as a kid, and I still really like it now!
The acting in the film is actually really good from all the actors and actresses, and despite being an incredibly funny, comedy family film, the actors play there characters really well in the serious situation the film is based around *spoilers*, a parents divorce.
Robin Williamson is very good in this movie, I find him and his character hilarious. One of my favourite scenes in the film is when *spoilers* he is calling his ex-wife pretending to be a variety of female house workers, the impressions are genius and the scene is just hilarious in general.
The film has a simple plot but it's actually fairly serious for a family/kids movie so it's a good combination of seriousness and hilarity/comedy!
In summary, you pretty much cannot dislike this movie unless you're pretty cold hearted and although it is not perfect, it's pretty awesome!
I'm trying to make this review longer but there isn't really much else to say about the film apart from I really, really enjoy watching it!
Overall, I'd rate it 8 out of 10 (80%).
