Review of Mrs Brown (1997) by Elex M — 05 May 2009
Not what I was expecting at all. Judi Dench's portrayal of Queen Victoria was excellent and I found Billy Connolly's performance very good as well. This makes two "royal" movies I've watched in as many days.
Add Season 2 of The Tudors and I feel I am overdosing on the monarchy (lol) but I love the historical settings. The cinematography of Balmoral was breathtaking...everyone should travel to Scotland at least once in their lives.
