Review of Mr. Turner (2014) by John B — 29 Jan 2015
A perfect film, beautifully directed, written and performed. As good as cinematography gets. I can understand why it may not appeal to everyone. In this case - and I like popular and commercial and silly and so-bad-it's-good movies as much as anyone - I have to question the capacity of a viewer who cannot recognize how superlative this film is.
Philistines will have their say, I suppose.
