Review of Mr. Turner (2014) by Brad S — 08 Nov 2015
A beautiful looking film from Master Mike Leigh, it examines the life of painter J.M.W. Turner. The acting is outstanding, and the cinematography is absolutely breathtaking. The story could've been stronger, it is more an accumulation of segments or pieces from his life, and not an arching story.
Definitely worth watching though, seek it out!
