Clearly extremely well acted, however movies is somewhat dark, full of ramblings and guttural sounds and very drawn out. Almost 3 hours is simply too long for this movie as it truly tends to loose ones concentration and somewhat bore.
Again - its wonderful that sich period pieces are made so well, however more attention needs be devoted to the script and ultimately character development for those of us who do not know the ins and outs of Turners life and character foibles.
