Enjoyed the film, though wish it showed more of the finished paintings! Very clever showing him painting certain pieces, but never shows the final product. Would have liked to have seen the final pieces more, even if it was in the background. We see many artworks throughout the film, but these have been completed off camera.
Felt the film did change scene quite randomly, with no smooth transition between them. Overall, very enjoyable and worth seeing. Brilliant performance by Timothy Spall.
