Review of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939) by Ryan C — 11 Sep 2008
Although the film has a very realistic setting, the story feels more like a modern fairytale. A naïve man fights with the corruption in vein and is only saved by another man's conscience. Unfortunately, it only happens in people's hope.
Nevertheless, the film is quite entertaining and inspring. It should be a must-watch for everyone who is going to work for public office.
