An excellent movie, and a must-see before the 2008 election. We need to get more candidates like Jefferson Smith in Washington who care about freedom and liberty and won't sell their votes to the highest bidder.
The deficiency bill in this movie all loaded with pork and concessions is eerily similar to the bailout the legislature just passed. We need to wake up to stuff like this.
