A true American classic with a quintessential Jimmy Stewart performance. Honestly, some of it doesn't hold up (a painfully long drunk scene with Jean Arthur) and there are some logic issues (a lot happens in a 24-hour period; parades, protests, etc.
). But you can't beat this for sheer patriotic passion.
