Mr. Smith Goes to Washington is one of the best cinematic representations of American politics as well as what one person is capable of doing to reverse greed and corruption. Jimmy Stewart is ideal as Mr.
Smith. Overall the movie is uplifting, powerful, and a beautiful story of redemption.
