Review of Mr. Holland's Opus (1995) by Paul K — 30 Oct 2007
This is a perfect drama. Richard Dreyfuss is incredible as a composer who must put his dreams aside to care for his pregnant wife and eventually his tragically deaf son. Every life that Mr. Holland touches is a wonderful blend of adolescent crises and Mr.
Holland's own development as a human being. The final scene of this movie is quite possibly one of the most heart-wrenchingly beautiful moments in a film I have seen. I highly recommend this to anyone is not a complete idiot.
