Again, a quintessential rom-com with a message. They sure don't make 'em like this anymore. It's interesting to note that Capra never has Deeds give away ALL his money, only a chunk of it. He is still saying that riches equal happiness, only that too much riches are bad.
Very depression era thinking there.
