Review of Mr. Deeds (2002) by James B — 22 Oct 2009
This was a toss-up ebtween 50% and 60% in other words "Is this rotten or Fresh?" I gave it a fresh rating for two reasons one, it's adam sandler who is always a dilightful, comedic, and well done actor.
Two: the jokes were great even if the plot was a little cliche in a few ways. You'll find yourself laughing just when you get enough time to stop from the last joke making the plot a little hard to focus on so you gotta be in the right comedic mood.
The story is sort of touching but like I said cliche. I admit you should stick with Happy Gilmore or Billy Madison if your in the mood for a better Adam Sandler movie. Stil it's a good one to watch on a friday night.
My recomendation? Rent it before buying it. I give it 3 Hallmark Cards out of five.
