This film is truly MAGNIFICENT. Impossible not to LOVE it. No special effects here. No stupid story. Only life, love, and real human beings. OUTSTANDING performance by Eddie Murphy! Great photography and ambience. Once you've watched this film you can't help wishing to have a real friend like Mr. Church and think about what the words family and commitment could be, which is beyond the traditional meaning of those words. A film about friendship, real life values, and deep love and commitments. A film dedicated to everyone who loves personal development, interracial relationships and who hates false myths and stereotypes.

PS: I suggest you don't read the so-called "critic reviews" if you don't want to get mad. The reviews of those so-called "critics" are unbelievably repugnant and blind beyond any imagination.
