Anyone who has ever renovated a house will identify with Cary Grant and Myrna Loy in "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House" (1948). Melvyn Douglas, from whose point of view the story is told, gets many of the best lines in this very witty film, and no one ever described colors as hilariously as Loy.
