Making the jump from short comedy sketches into a film often encounters its own set of problems, namely the ability to prolong the short sharp wit into 90 minutes. Like many before it, this fails to contend with the pace, with many a joke falling flat.
That said, this still promotes Rowan Atkinson as a comedy genius, able to make worldwide audiences chuckle despite the added difficulty of his character having next to no dialogue.
