Review of Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007) by Patrick C — 01 Jul 2009
I love Mr. Bean as much as anybody, but apparently features just aren't for him. This is a very cut & paste buddy road trip movie, nothing more, nothing less. It even goes so far as to replicate going to Hollywood, as many road trip movies destinations are, only with the European twist by having it be Cannes instead.
One or two nice gags here & there, but I don't recall actually loling, more like a chuckle or a sort of, "That's kinda clever" at best. It might be good for kids or something though, but if you really want your laughs, Rowan Atkinson has done better (if you want prime Mr.
Bean, you've gotta watch the show).
