Review of Mr. & Mrs. Smith (1941) by Josh S — 28 Apr 2010
Just a really odd movie for Hitchcock to do. It isnâ??t all that bad, itâ??s obviously shot well, itâ??s just really mediocre. The plot is really flat and unoriginal, itâ??s a sub-par attempt at screwball comedy.
None of the performances are all that noteworthy, but none are bad. Itâ??s probably the lowest point in Hitchcockâ??s career.
