Review of Mozartballs (2006) by Frank Z — 03 Feb 2008
In an odd way, the documentary shows us that Mozart's spirit is still very much alive. the odd is in fact people's "love" for him and his music. fans might be an understatement for the people shown in the film.
from mozartkugel to mozart-like music regenerated by "experiments in musical intelligence" and from a woman who thinks she is mozart reincarnation to a depression patient who claims that talking to mozart helped him.
.. at times, it's a little too much to take in at once; yet, it's interesting to see the love for mozart in a rather extreme form and how they found their own meanings of life through "mozart".
