Review of Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (2018) by Kyle C — 22 Dec 2018
Even though I wanted this to be released in theaters nationwide, I think it is a really good adaptation of the Jungle Book stories. It has some great visuals, stellar voice acting from Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Christian Bale and Andy Serkis and a well enough understood story.
Although it is not as popular as the 2016 Disney adaptation, I still like that one and this one is considered a darker take on the story as Andy Serkis makes his directorial debut. A pretty good movie for anyone who has seen either the 1967 classic or the 2016 remake.
